Course overview
A one day workshop for registered healthcare staff that support learners in the clinical environment. This will be an interactive workshop offering the opportunity to reflect with trust colleagues on the value of coaching learners in practice. The course will enable staff to:
- Identify their personal style of facilitation
- Understand the principles of coaching and the Grow model
- Explore some common mistakes of a coaching approach and identify some of the benefits
- Experience the opportunity to practice the core coaching skills
- Assess the value of applying coaching as a learning and development strategy to your clinical environment
This course can have a bespoke element in being tailored to specific staff groups if required. Please contact hsscpdhub@bournemouth.ac.uk to discuss your needs.
Please note that this unit can only be purchased as a full cohort by organisations. Individual spaces cannot be purchased.
